Pre-Academy (5U–8U)
For players born 2018 – 2015.*
How It Works
Players are organized into two age groups:
- 5U–6U (2018–2017 birth year).
- 7U–8U (2016–2015 birth year).
The program features small-group training once per week with sessions designed by our Technical Director. In addition, on a second night each week, the children will play small-sided 4v4 games. And you can keep your weekends free for other family activities!
Volunteer: We welcome parents willing to serve as coaches.
Our Pre-Academy program will be offered in the fall, winter and spring!
Spring 2023 Season
- Ages: 5U–8U (2018–2015 birth year).
- Dates: April 10 – May 25 (7 weeks).
- Format:
- Training Sessions: Mondays, Tuesdays, or Wednesdays.
- Games: Thursdays.
- Times: Training and games 5:30–6:00pm (5U–6U) or 6:00–7:00pm (7U–8U).
- Location: Bontrager Fields (58685 CR 37, Middlebury, IN 46540)
- Cost: $85 (if paid by March 1), $105 (if after March 1).
- Includes: training, games, and shirts.
*A limited number of 8U (2015) players may be permitted to participate in our Academy Program. All decisions are subject to club approval. (See our age guidelines for more info on age groupings.)

When your player ages out of the Pre-Academy Program, the next step in his or her development is to join the Academy Program or the MYSL Rec Program.
